Joseph was the the son of Pasquale and Filomena (Digiacomo). He arrived in Buffalo, New York with his parents and younger brother Anthony when he was 4 years old. As an adult he worked many different jobs then started working at the United States Post Office in his 50's. Besides Anthony he was also a brother to Catherine, Teresa and Rose.
