ARTHUR W. DAUSS, 84, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Keystone Woods Assisted Living, Anderson, Ind. Born Feb. 13, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., he was a son of the late Fredrick W. Dauss and Henrietta Schultz Dauss. He was an accountant for 35 years for Paramount Paper Tube, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and after retirement worked for Crossroads Flowers. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn M. (Rippe) Dauss of Fort Wayne; three sons, William J. Dauss of Fort Wayne, James A. (Linda) Dauss of Chesterfield, Ind., and Michael R. (Amy) Dauss of Anderson; four grandchildren, Meridith (Brian) Yochim, Andrew, Ryan, and Matthew Dauss; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Elijah and Lucas Yochim. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Schultz; and brother, Marvin Dauss. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7810 Maysville Road, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort W. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials to the church.
