Mrs. Bess Toombs Reed — A native of Delaware [sic Louisiana] and a resident of Coden, died in a local nursing home Sunday, March 8, 1970 at 8:30 a.m.
Mrs. Reed is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Virginia M. Sanborn of Elsworth, Maine and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Higgins Funeral Home Wednesday, March 11, 1970 at 2 p.m. with interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Visitation at Higgins Parlors after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements by Higgins Funeral Home, 1533 South Belt Line Hwy., between Hwy. 90 and Cottage Hill Rd.
