Mary Lucile Nicholson, 86, of Cambridge City died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born July 26, 1919, in Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of William (Bill) Anderson and Nellie Florence Coffman Sands. She had lived in Cambridge City since the age of 10. She operated the Cambridge City taxi service and had worked at Miller Dairy and Balanced Line Casket Co., both in Cambridge City. She had attended the Cambridge City Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Deanna Kay Glunt of Madison and Joy Elaine Braund of Mooreland; three brothers, Charlie and Robert Sands, both of Cambridge City, and William Sands of Connersville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Sands.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
