George Martin "Marty" Bachman, III, 56, Easton, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 after an extended battle with cancer.
Marty was born on November 20, 1957 to the late George and Mary (Curran) Bachman, Jr.
He was a 1977 graduate of Benton High School.
Mr. Bachman worked in grounds maintenance at Missouri Western State University for over 33 years. Marty took such pride in the upkeep and beautification of the campus flower beds. He thought of Missouri Western as his family and loved his job.
Marty was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his sisters, Williamina "Mina" Cox, St. Joseph; and Diane (John) Schnabel, Royse City, Texas.
Mr. Bachman was also preceded in death by an infant brother, John Edward Bachman.
Service: 12 p.m. Saturday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
