Pioneer Forth Worth Photographer Dead
Frank Leffler, 77, pioneer Forth Worth photographer and father of Chester Leffler of the West Texas Chamber of Commerce, died Monday morning in Eastland. Funeral services will be held here Tuesday morning.

He was born in Zanesville, Ohio, married Miss Alice Mae Wilson in Parsons Kansas in 1887 and came to Fort worth in 1892. He was a prominent member of the Knights of Pythias lodge and also of the Masonic fraternity.

Pythians will be in charge of the services at the grave.

Surviving besides his son are three sisters, a brother and a granddaughter.

His parents were Peter Leffler and Margaret Steinbrook. His first wife was Clara E. Catlin.

He was a founding member of The Photographers' Association of Texas which organized in 1898 and served as Secretary that year. In 1902 he was the President of the association.

Waco Texas, May 12--The Photographers association of Texas was organized here today. J.C. Deane of Waco was elected president; Fletcher Allen of Kosse, Henry Morris of Galveston, L. Bushong of El Paso and W.M. Snell of Sherman were elected first, second, third and fourth vice presidents; Frank Leffler of Fort Worth, secretary; W.D. Jackson of Waco, treasurer. The association selected Dallas for next place of meeting.
