They were parents of three children: LeRoy G_______ Hoover buried Circle Grove Cemetery, Bessie Mae Hoover Boub buried this cemetery, Ethel Ellen Hoover Merrill and may be buried in this cemetery. ~0bit~From a Poplar, Montana, newspaper, we take the following facts regarding the death of Junius P. Hoover, 75, who died there April 5, 1936, as briefly noted in the Bulletin-Journal. Mr. Hoover was born in Buchanan County, at Newtonville, Iowa, on December 3, 1860. On March 20, 1883, he was married to Esther Jane Ball in Buchanan County. To them were born three children: a son, LeRoy, who died some years ago; Mrs. LeRoy C____ Boub of Richey, Montana; and Mrs. G____ L_____ Merrill, of Billings, Montana. His widow survives, two daughters, also two granddaughters, two sisters, Mrs. Janetta Wilde of Williston, North Dakota and Mrs. Martha Marie Schneider of Troy Mills; a brother, Rev. Byron James Hoover. Mr. Hoover went to Montana fifteen years ago and to Poplar ten years ago. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church at Poplar Wednesday morning, April 8, after which the body was taken to Williston for burial. Brought up in a Christian home, Mr. Hoover united with M.E. Church when a very young man, and lived a full life of Christian consistency. He served as S. S. superintendent and Bible class teacher for many years until his hearing began to fail, he felt himself to serve no longer. He was an elder of the Poplar Church for several years. As was said by one who knew him well, "If all woulld live as he did the world would be full of grace and goodness, and passing from it would be the triumph of the Saints." The obituary notice says that the surviving relatives have the deep sympathy of a great host of friends of the departed one, for Mr. Hoover was broad, tolerant and a kindly with a cheery word for a good word of everyone, and made friends of all who came to know him.

~0bit~Burial services for Junius Hoover, former Williams County farmer and Williston elevator operator who died at his Poplar, Montana home Sunday following a lingering illness, were held this afternoon at Riverside cemetery. Mr. Hoover passed away Sunday at Poplar. Death was attributed to a general break down of the physlcal forces. He was about 70 years of age. The former resident was born in Iowa and came to this city as a young man. He was employed in the Farmers Elevator for several years and later farmed in Round Prairie township near the Jellison farm. He left Williston about 12 years ago to operate an elevator in McCabe, Montana. For the past few years he has lived in Poplar, Montana.

~News~G. L. Merrill, of Billings, at Poplar to attend the funeral of Mr. Hoover, his father-in-law, received word of the death of his mother at Rexburg, Idaho, aged 62, he went from Poplar to Butte and Rexburg by plane to second funeral.

~News~Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Martha Schneider and Mrs. W. W. Ball in the death of a neice, Mrs. Bessie Boub, Montana, which occured Sunday, October 25, following an operation for gall stones. Monday, November 2, a second message was received of the death of Mrs. Boub's mother, Mrs. Junius Hoover, sister of Mrs. Ball and sister-in-law of Mrs. Martha Schneider, who passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Merrill, at Bozeman, Montana. Both Mrs. Boub and Mrs. Hoover were buried at Williston, North dakota, by the side of their husband and father, Junius Hoover, who passed away April 5, 1936. Mrs. Schneider seems to be having more than her share of sorrow, as she has lost so many of her dear relatives during the past two years.
