Ruby Jewell Hatfield, 88, of Paragould, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Born January 2, 1926, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mrs. Hatfield was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sandra Rowton of Rockford, Illinois, Linda and Robert Hause of Paragould, Deborah and Kurt Ayres of Avon, Illinois; two brothers, Gus Marvin of Paragould, and Calvin Marvin of Arizona; and three sisters, Yvone Harder of California, Beatrice Nettles and Wilma Strickland, both of Paragould. Other survivors include sister-in-law, Geanell Marvin of Gainesville; five grandchildren; seventeen grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hatfield; her parents, D.S. and Laverna Marvin; two brothers, James Marvin, J.D. Marvin; four sisters, Orine Marvin, Earline Childress, Lois Ervine, Wilda Linhart and one grandchild, Tonialean Hause.

Funeral services were at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
