I work at Cherokee Area archives in cherokee Iowa. I found the death record of Effie Keeler. It indicates that she died of pheumonia on March 10, 1916 at Cherokee MHI and was marrried and was a housewife. If you call Cherokee Mental Health at 712-225-2594 and ask for Jenny in records you may be able to access additional medical records. It indictates that she was sent to either Belmond or Selmond Iowa for burial. If we can be of further help please email.

I just found her grave at the Belmond Iowa city cemetery. If you google Belmond Iowa cemetery website and then look for Keeler names you will find that Aaron, Aaron's wife and Effie are all buried at lot 134. She does not have a headstone. Barb
