SAN ANTONIO — Services for Mrs. Beulah M. Tamplin, 97, of Kerrville, who died Saturday, July 18, 1992 in a San Antonio nursing home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grimes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Born June 12, 1895 in Mitchell, La., Mrs. Tamplin had been a resident of Kerrville since 1939. She was a retired public school teacher and had been active in the First Baptist Church since 1947. She was a member of Faithful Workers Missionary Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Tamplin, in 1967. Survivors include a daughter, Billie Jean Arhelger of San Antonio; two sons, James H. Tamplin of Bulverde and Jack D. Tamplin of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
