Mrs. Robertice (Bertie) Jenkins Bankston died Sunday, October 25, 1981, at Fountain Lodge Nursing Home. She was 89, a native of Natalbany and a resident of Baton Rouge for 60 years.

Arrangements entrusted to Rabenhorst Funeral Home, with religious services conducted by the Rev. Charles Lamb and Dr. D.P. Worsham. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Inez McIntyre Faust and Mrs. Anna Nell Airhart, both of Baton Rouge; a son-in-law, Lawson A. Faust, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Maude Jenkins Foster, Springfield; two granddaughters, Mrs. Janice Faust Gehring and Mrs. Dianna Airhart Pritchard, both of Baton Rouge; two grandsons, Bryant Lee Faust, New Orleans, and Lance Duane Airhart, Baton Rouge; and five great-grandsons, Jeffrey Lee Faust, New Orleans, and Matthew Scott Faust, Kyle Brent Gehring, Dallas; Keith Pritchard and Joel Chance Airhart, all of Baton Rouge.

Preceded in death by her husband, James Dallas Bankston, and a great-grandson, David Keith Gehring.

Pallbearers will be Lance Airhart, Kyle Gehring, Larry Gehring, Bryant Faust, Jeffrey Faust and Matthew Faust.

She was a member of Douglas Avenue Baptist Church.
