ADA-Services for Lillian Geraldine Young, 69, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mickey Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Mrs. Young died Monday, January 6, 2014 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born August 22, 1944 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Zelma Dale and Lillie Iona Durham Mackey. She graduated from Vamoosa High School and attended East Central University. She married Coy Oneal Young, Sr. on March 23, 1980. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2002. Mrs. Young had been employed with Iron J Grocery in Ada, the Ada Quarter Horse Sales, the Purcell Expo Center, People's Electric Cooperative as a dispatcher, and Harold Hall Law Office. She was an auction clerk for horse and farm auctions in Oklahoma and Texas. Mrs. Young attended Union Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Teena Danette Henry and her husband Philip of Lula; a son, Todd Oneal Young of Ada; three grandchildren, Chesna Phili Henry, Chasten Regor Henry and Chisum Oneal Henry, all of Lula; and five brothers, Darrell Mackey and wife Melinda, Konawa, Eldon Mackey and wife Judy, Blanchard, Ronnie Mackey and wife Sandra, Lightning Ridge, Tommy Mackey and wife Donna, Seminole, and Jimmy Mackey, Waldron, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Tammy Deann McAnally Romero; a brother, David Mackey; and a sister, Frances Wood. Bearers will be her brothers, Darrell Mackey, Eldon Mackey, Ronnie Mackey, Tommy Mackey, Jimmy Mackey, and Philip Henry and Todd Young. Honorary bearers will be the Tupelo High School Boys Basketball and Baseball Teams, the Tupelo FFA Chapter, Cub Biggs, Kenneth Winters, and Harland Stonecipher.
