DEATH CLAIMS MRS. J. MARSHALL
DEATH OF FORMER LIBERTY CENTER WOMAN OCCURS NEAR FIAT
Mrs. Tena Brown Marshall, 64, wife of James Marshall, residing three miles east of Fiat, in Jackson township, Jay county, died at her home at 9 o'clock Wednesday night, after a two months' illness.
Mrs. Marshall was the daughter of Samuel and Catherine Bevard Brown and was born in Grant county, Indiana, September 23, 1865.
She was married February 13, 1891 to James Marshall. The ceremony took place at Liberty Center where they resided for several years.
She was a member of the Baptist church at Liberty Center.
Surviving are four sons, Frank W. Marshall, of Artesia, New Mexico; James H. Marshall, of Liberty Center; Floyd L. Marshall and Isaac S. Marshall, both at home; and two daughters, Mrs. Inez Pugh of Pennville; and Gladys Lucas, of Fiat.
Brothers and sisters are Mrs. Charles Smith, of Marion; Mrs. J. Gage, of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Ed Walston, Calif; Mrs. L. Bennington, Centerville, S.D.; Mrs. J. B. Stebbens, of Marion; Albert Brown, Gas City; Mrs. Hy King, Marion; Leander Brown, Gas City; James Brown, Marion. A brother, John Brown, is deceased.
The funeral will be held at ten o'clock at Oakland church, three miles wast of Fiat.
Burial will be at Mossburg cemetery.
