Catherine was originally buried at Calvary on September 26, 1930.
She was moved to this part of the cemetery July 27, 1940, to be closer to other family members.

MRS. DOWELL DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. John Dowell, for 18 years a resident of Bremerton, died Monday at the family home, 839 Tenth street, after an illness of five years, during most of which time she had been confined to her home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the Middlestaedt undertaking chapel, Seattle, with burial in a Seattle cemetery.

Mrs. Dowell is survived by her husband, four sons, Frank, John, Wilfred and Charlie, and a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Olmer of Seattle, Mrs. T. Y. Cadwell, a sister of Mrs. Dowell from Portland, is here assisting with funeral arrangements.
