Wanda was born March 29, 1929, to Louis and Doris Mae (Graham) Stone on a farm near Geuda Springs.
She was reared and educated in Geuda Springs, graduating from high school there in 1947.
She married Clifford Wayne Brewer in 1947.
The couple lived in many communities in Wyoming, Texas and Kansas, before returning to Geuda Springs in 1962.
Wanda served her family as homemaker for most of her life, but worked as a nurse's aide at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center for many years.
She was a longtime member of Geuda Springs Community Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Brewer, and wife, Jodi, of Geuda Springs; daughters, Velva Brewer, of Geuda Springs, and Vevia McHaffie, and husband, Richard, of Owasso, Okla.; brothers, Louis "Wayne" Stone, of Tulsa, Okla., and Clyde Stone, of Dodge City; sisters, Darlene Kleymann, of Tribune, and Juanita Koestle, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and brother, Raymond Stone.
A memorial has been established for the Geuda Springs Community Church Activity Center.
