Death Claims Mrs. Mary Barton
Mother Of Mrs. May Mellott Dies Tuesday In Huntington County
Mrs. Mary Jane Barton, 81, died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, John B. Barton near Lancaster Center school, Huntington County. She had been ill for ten days.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Lancaster Church of the Brethren. Burial will be at Lancaster.
Surviving children include: James Barton of Muncie, Mrs. Estella Bowen of Gary, Charles Barton of Hartford City, Mrs. Cora Bayl of Terre Haute, Mrs. May Mellott of Bluffton, John B. Barton of Huntington County, and Mrs. Lulu Shideler of Logansport. There are 24 grand-children and 19 great grand-children.
