February 6, 1832 according to Civil War draft record. Married Lucy Turner December 24 1857. Farmer in Shelby County Missouri.
Killed in action at the Centralia Battle September 27, 1864 following the Centralia Massacre.
Federal Tombstone Record. Probably among privates assigned to hold company horses near Centralia. Pursued north to Sturgeon. Remains taken back to Shelby County according to Shelby County history. His name is on the Memorial at Jefferson City National Cemetery
