Tom Boatright was the son of the late CW Boatright and Courtney Martin. He married Hannah Maranda Carter 31 January 1887, married 19 years, issue: 11 children. After Hannah's death he married Elizabeth Byrd 26 February 1908, married 37 years, issue 7 children. Tom and Elizabeth raised around 20 children including those from previous marriages. He served as a tax receiver and Justice of the Peace in Bacon County, GA.
