Mrs. Anna Pearl MCCONNELL, 84, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 1960, in her home in Houston after an illness of two weeks.
Mrs. MCCONNELL was born February 2, 1876, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of the late John A. and Agnes Elfretta SIMPSON CARLISLE. She had spent most of her life in Houston and was a member of the Houston Methodist Church. She was married to James W. McCONNELL who died in 1941.
Surviving are two sons, DeWitt V. of Cleveland, Ohio, and James Newell McCONNELL at home; a sister Miss Elva CARLISLE of Hickory, and two brothers, William G. of R. D. 3, McDonald, and Harry G. of Charlotte, Mich. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Houston. Burial was in Oak Spring cemetery.
