OBITUARY: CARL KELLERMAN

Carl Leonard Kellerman, son of John and Katherine Hock Kellerman, was born in Stuttgart, Kansas on August 4, 1906, and departed this life at the Mercy Care Center, Omaha, Nebraksa on February 12, 1986, having attained the age of 79 years.

Carl grew to manhood in the Stuttgart community and received his education in the Stuttgart school. He was a retired bacnking auditor at the time of his death.

Carl was baptized into the Christian faith on August 26, 1906 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Stuttgart, Kan., and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 30, 1920, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Stuttgart, Kan. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Omaha, Nebraska at the time of his death,

On August 26, 1928, he was united in marriage with Mabel F, McMurphy at Glade, Kansas. To this union six children were born.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his four daughters and one son, and by three sisters and six brothers.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mabel, of the home in Omaha, Neb.; his son Carl L., and his wife Judy, Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters; Elsie Fickes, Okanogan, Wash., and Hilda Kellerman, Phillipsburg, Kan.; one brother, Herman Kellerman, Stuttgart; plus many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Omaha, Neb., on Friday, February 14, 1986, with Pastors R.M. Meyer and Donna Durrette officiating. Hymns were sung by the congregation with Dr. Paul Nebe as organist. Futher services were held at his home congregation, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Stuttgart, Kans., on Saturday, February 15, 1986, with the Rev. Duane Levin officiating. Hymns were sung congregation with Mrs. Marlene Levin as organist.

Casket bearers were Jim Jackson, Jim Kellerman, Willis Kellerman, Ray Dieckhoff, Norman Kellerman and Maynard Kellerman.

Intermant was in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stuttgart, Kansas to await the resurrection.
