Sarah married William Hezekiah BILLS 22 Apr 1840 in the home of her father in Lewisburg, Marshall Co, TN. She was 15 years old. They remained in TN until 1860, when they lived in Tippah Co., MS. By 1880, they were living in Johnson Co., TX.
Sarah and William Hezekiah BILLS came to Oklahoma from Texas in Dec of 1894 by covered wagon. William Hezekiah died 13 Jan 1898. They were married for 58 years.
Sarah died one week after her husband. She is buried beside him and shares his marker in Cloudchief Cemetery.
