Walter Vernon Willis, 65 years old, died Friday at his home in Lutesville. He was born September 30, 1907 at West Frankfort, Illinois. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Willis.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Evelyn Fulst; one step-son, Harry Topper of Lutesville, Mo.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Wokurka of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Clyde Willis of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Velma Francis of Fulton, Illinois; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Lena Melvin of West Frankfort, Ill.; and Mrs. Ona Finley of St. Louis, Mo.
Services were Monday at Baker Funeral Home. Burial was in Shelton Cemetery near Lutesville.
