Civil War veteran returned to Bangor in the 1870s. He became a US Citizen on Aug 2, 1884 in Bangor at the age of 47. On November 26, 1888 his pension was transfered to his wife Margaret (aplication #384380, certificate #295994. Suggesting that he died in 1888 at the age of 51 or 52. He resided in Bangor from 1873 to 1886. After extensive searches no other locations have been found for his grave. The address given"Medford" was the community the man he was subtituting for.
