Mrs. William Carothers
Mrs. William Carothers, 57, Bowling township died at 10:00 last night in her home after --weeks' illness.
Miss Myrtle Ellen Teter was born Feb. (, 1882 in Boxley, Ind. She was married to Everett Hines of Tipton County, Indiana in-----. the couple resided in Marion until 1926, moving to Milan where Mr. Hines died Nov. 17, 1929. His widow was married to William Carothers in Rock Island on -----28, 1935. Since the marriage the couple had resided in Bowling township.
Surviving are the widower, a daughter, Mrs. Linn Rettig of M--six sons Otto Hines of Moline, Dewey, William and Rex Hines of Milan, Phil Hines at home, Gilbert Hines of Edgington; sister, Mrs. Mary Kemper of M---, Mich.; and a brother Ray Teter.
