Son of James A and Mary Barnhart. Barnhart served in Company 1, 3RD BATTALION, 41ST MEDICAL REPLACEMENT UNIT. He died at Brest France of Bronchial pneumonia.
Of those who died from Pueblo in WWI his was the first body returned home to Pueblo.
