Funeral services were Saturday afternoon in Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Grand Tower for John A Knupp, 61, of Grand Tower who died Thursday.
Burial was in Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower. The Rev Robert McCormick officiated.
Mr Knupp died unexpectedly Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack at the White Rose Cafe near Grand Tower.
He was born Feb 28, 1913, in Jonesboro to Joseph E. and Nancy E. Clutts Knupp.
Mr Knupp was a welder and laborer.
He was a veteran of Army service in World War II.
Survivors include, brothers, Robert of Grand Tower and Moses of Oxnard Calif; a half brother, Everet Scholebo of Oxnard; and sisters Mary Rose of Fairfield and Anna Derossett of Grand Tower.
