Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Prescilla Anaya, son, Donaciano Anaya, sister, Georgia Sedillo, brother, Ramon Chávez and grandmother, Lucy Anaya.
Nick is survived by his wife, Nellie Anaya, sons, Nick Anaya Jr. and Joseph Anaya, grandchildren, Angelica, Shania, Nicholas III and Xavier Anaya, brothers, Ronald Anaya and Arthur Anaya and his wife, Tillie, sisters, Theresa Gallegos, Esther Chávez and her husband, Robert and Eleanor Anaya, two aunts, Frances Morin and Nica Player, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who loved and will miss him.
Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco Dr. SW. on Monday, November 18, 2013. A Viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with Burial to follow at Tomé Cemetery in Tomé, NM. Pallbearers will be Frances García, Anthony García, Christopher García, Darrick García, Eloy Gonzáles and Jason Sedillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Toby Zamora, Martín Roybal and Ronald Anaya.
