Annie will be loved, missed and remembered forever in the hearts
of all who loved her. Annie was born in Norway. Farm name not
known. Annie first married Johannes Olsen Mellemsdokken,
born in Oppland Norway while living in Norway.
Johannes, Annie and their infant daughter Anna O. Olsen
immigrated to the USA May 14, 1887.
They took the Anderson Line, the ship Drammen and arrived
in New York Port. Soon after they arrived to America,
Johannes was tragically killed when struck by lightening
in the North Dakota Territory America Oct. 15, 1887.
Suddenly, Annie was young widow, living in a new country.
Annie remarried to Johannes's brother Ole Olsen.
Ole had also immigrated from Norway to America.
Annie , a Widow, married Ole J. Olson in 1888 in America.
She kept her late husbands spelling of her last name Olsen.
Some records have Ole as Olson after immigration. Annie and
Ole spent much of their lives living in the S. Mpls MN area.
Annie lived in Mpls when she passed away in 1954.
Annie and Ole were Blessed with five more children.
All of Annie's children have now passed away.
All of the children, Annie and Ole Olsen are
buried at the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
It is unknown which Cemetery Johannes Olsen was buried
in Hawley Clay Co. MN. in 1887.
Annie Olsen is survived by many relatives in MN, possibly MN or
North Dakota, Norway and around the USA.
