Jackson - Mrs. Laura Bailey, 83, Jackson, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, Lewis Bailey, after a three-day illness. She was the widow of Shelby Bailey and a member of the Methodist Church.
Other survivors are a son, Ted Bailey, Booneville; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Barrett, South Lebanon, Ohio; a brother, Robert Cole, Stay, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bob Gabbard Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jeff Burton. Burial will be in the Brandenburg Cemetery, Booneville. The body is at the funeral home.
