ABILENE - Graveside services for Greenville native Mrs. Pauline Rountree, 70, of El Paso, were held Monday afternoon in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Dr. James Flamming, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Rountree died June 17 at 2:25 p.m. in an Abilene hospital.

She was born March 6, 1908, in Greenville to George W. and Mary Ann Russell Frazier. She attended high school and business school here.

In 1932 she married Herbert A. Rountree in Midland. They moved to Ysleta in 1935 where she was employed by the Bank of Ysleta for 25 years until her retirement in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Annelle Blakemore of Abilene and Mrs. Gaynelle Lipscomb of Greenville; a brother, Garvis Frazier, McKinney; several nieces and nephews.
