Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Tuesday, March 11, 1969, page 3:
  Mrs. Anna Marie Crane, 69, of 513 Second St. died at 12:30 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland where she had been admitted earlier the same day.
  Mrs. Crane was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Crane, Jan. 30, 1966. They were married Aug. 18, 1918, in Alton.
  Mrs. Crane was born April 14, 1899, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Her parents were the late Joseph and Anna Marie Hutina Baca.
  Mrs. Crane lived for a short while in Alton before moving to Edwardsville, where she spent her last 51 years.
  She was president of Victory Mother's, Unit 18, a member of the Academy of Friendship of the Women of the Moose, Lodge 1561, and the Royal Neighbors Ivy Camp 2091.
  Mrs. Crane was also a member of the Eden United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild of that Church.
  She is survived by a son, Joseph Lee Crane, Edwardsville; a daughter, Mrs. Birdie Marie Clayton, Granite City; a brother, William Baca, Collinsville; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Rozum, Edwardsville, Mrs. Fred (Agnes) Schardon, Collinsville, and Mrs. Alvin (Antonia) Davis, Glen Crossing; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
  Besides her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
  Friends may call at the Lesley Marks Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday, when the body will be removed to the Eden United Church of Christ.
  Visitation will continue at the church from noon Thursday until the time of services, at 2 p.m. the same day in the church.
  Officiating will be the Rev. Donald Crismon, co-pastor of the Eden United Church of Christ.
  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
  The family requests that memorials be given to the Eden United Church of Christ Radio Fund.

Pallbearers were DeVere Neutzling, Marvin Spengel, Norman Ash, Barry Booth, Robert Robertson and Fred Burger.
