Note from John - FAG ID - 47032041 - Frederick Belcher was enumerated in the 1901 census of Ireland at The Royal Hibernian Military School, Phoenix Park, Dublin [now St. Mary's Hospital]. It was a boarding school for boys, whose fathers were often serving abroad. The school educated the children of serving soldiers up to the age of 14, and also taught several trades, especially tailoring. There was later a separate school for girls.
