CARVIN, Mary Louise born Nov. 12, 1916 in Pennsylvania. Passed away Jan. 5, 2010 at her home in Llano, Calif. Mary grew up in the coal mining town of Hooversville, Pennsylvania. She lived in the Antelope Valley for the past 40 years. Her career, hobby and special accomplishments all revolved around helping others, especially priests at St. Andrews Abbey in Valyermo, Calif. She will always be remembered for her famous "Marys Flea Market" at the Abbeys Fall Festival. She is survived by her son, Bill Mahon, daughter in law, Sharon Hunter, and daughter Janice Mahon. She is also survived by grand children Janine Hypolite and Raven Mahon, and great granddaughter Nemali Hypolite, and beloved dog Molly as well as many friends here in the valley and at the Abbey. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at St. Andrews Abbey, Valyermo, Calif. You may email condolences to [email protected].
