Roland J. Begier, age 79, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, in Tucumcari NM.
Roland James Begier was born December 11, 1933, in Hartington, NE. He had been making his home here in Tucumcari for the past 30 years. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion. He had served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife Donna Jo Bezier; one son, Randy Begier of Scottsdale AZ, Kim (Steve) Burns of Tucumcari, NM; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Josh) Breshears of Nevada, MD, Phillips (Tasha) Burns of Edgewood, NM, Natalie Begier and Nolan Begier, both of Scottsdale, AZ, April (Phil) McKnight of Tucumcari and LaDonna (Tanner) Fickling of Clayton, NM; and one brother, Rodney (Marilyn) Begier of Alexandria MN.
Memorial services wI'll be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, at First Baptist Church in Tucumcari, NM, with Rev John Hinze officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari NM.
