PAULINE MAE FLEMING
Pauline Mae Fleming, 94, of Moberly, died Thursday afternoon, October 17, 2013, at the Moberly Nursing and Rehab.
Pauline was born September 15, 1919, in Randolph County, east of Cairo, she was the second child of Chester H. and Effie Mae (Smith) Devenport.
As a child she joined the Evansville Baptist Church and later attended Antioch Christian Church. she was a former employee of Brown Shoe Company.
She married Billy H. Fleming on April 12, 1943, in Moberly, and they lived on a farm east of Moberly.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Ira E. Devenport and Dorothy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorene and Tom Carr and Colleen and Buford Hannah; a niece, nephew, great-niece, and great-nephew.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Ruth Carr, Florence Carr, Tom Carr, Sue Fennel, Jerald Devenport, Julie Jackson, Merold Devenport, Cheryl Hannah all of Moberly, Jeanie Boswell of Madison, Darold Devenport of Fulton, Janie Lackey and Janice Van Stervan out of state; sister-in-law, Helen Wright of Moberly and her children, Harold, Pam and Linda, other relatives and friends.
Services honoring and celebrating Pauline's life will be Sunday, 1:30 p.m., at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel, with committal prayers and internment following in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be Sunday, 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
