Alice E. Keisler, age 92, of Elgin passed away on Saturday October 19, 2013 at the Rosewood Care Center in Elgin. Alice was born in Algonquin, IL on September 7, 1921, the daughter of the late Arthur & Frieda (nee Holtz) Rudsinski.

Alice was a life long resident of the area. She worked along with her late husband LaVerne and their late son Neil as dairy farmers. They owned and operated Pond Gate Dairy in Barrington Hills until their retirement. Alice was a longtime, faithful member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee.

Survivors include her daughters: Audrey (Paul) Luscher of Half Moon Bay, CA and Gail (Dr. Terry) Nelson of Kalamazoo, MI. Alice is also survived by her seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Helen Hopp and Lois Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, LaVerne H. Keisler in 2010; a son, Neil L. Keisler in 2006; granddaughters, Meredith L. Keisler in 1978 and Sara E. Nelson in 1983; her six brothers, William, Harry, Clifford, Albert, Leonard and Earl Rudsinski; and two sisters, Lula Marwood and Vera Beu.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 E. Main St. in East Dundee with the Rev. William P. Yonker, Senior Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee and again on Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to either the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, or the Illinois Chapter of the Huntingtons Disease Society, P.O. Box 1883, Arlington Heights, Il 60006-1883.
