Tony was the husband of Brenda Lee NEICE, whom he married on 14 Feb 1995 in Terre Haute, Vigo, IN.

He is the step-father of Michael Paul NEICE and Jessica Rose NEICE.

He is the father of Jennifer Lynn ROSS NELSON and Robert Layton ROSS.

He is the brother of Stephanie A. ROSS LOVEALL.

He is the grandfather of Sierrah NELSON, Chance NELSON, and Dio PLACE.

He is the step-grandfather of Zackary Taylor Logan LEACH, Mark Wayne Paul LEACH, Matthew Nicholas Logan LEACH, Amber Nichole Rose LEACH.

He is the uncle of Zachary DRISKO.

Tony was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Obituary:

Anthony W. "Tony" Ross, 53, of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Ross was a former security officer with Clark Security. Tony was born July 6, 1957, in Terre Haute, the son of the late Harry G. Ross and Anna L. (Curto) Ross.

He married Brenda L. Niece on Feb. 14, 1994, at the Vigo County Courthouse and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert L. Ross of Las Vegas, and Michael P. Niece of Terre Haute; two daughters, Jennifer Nelson of Clinton and Jessica R. Niece of Alabama; sister, Stephanie A. (Bill) Loveall of Rosedale; four grandchildren, Sierrah and Chance Nelson, and Dio Place and Zachary Leach; nephew, Zachary (Kristin) Drisko of Rosedale.

Tony was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended Indiana State University. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Terre Haute and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Tony will be remembered as an avid sportsman and outdoorsman who enjoyed making others laugh.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the chapel at Highland Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Adam Millar. For those that wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Southern Care Hospice. The family is being served by Simple Cremations and Burials of Clinton.
