ASHLAND - Archie L. Biggs, 67, 733 West 18th St., died at Samaritan hospital Monday afternoon.

Mr. Biggs lived in Ashland for the past 50 years and operated Al Biggs Furniture Store on South St. for the past eight years, he formerly worked at Union Malleable Manufacturing Co.

Surviving are his widow Alice; one daughter, Mrs. William McQuate of Ashland; two sons, James of Florida and Kenneth of Hayesville; four sisters, Polly of Kansas, Daisy of Missouri, Mrs. Minnie Vance of Missouri and Mrs. Louise Reed of Oregon; one brother, Bert of Missouri; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Denbow - Prim Funeral Home with the Rev. B. P. Jones of the Church of God, Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
