Mrs. Mary F. Grubb, 92, who resided at King's Daughters home, died at 1:55 a.m., Aug. 11, 1944, at the home.

She had been a resident of Springfield for over 40 years and was the widow of Samuel A. Grubb, who preceded her in death in 1902 [sic].

Mrs. Grubb was a member of the West Side Christian church.

Surviving are four sons, Loren E., Willard T., and Charles W., all of Springfield; and Chester B., of Bloomington; five sisters, Mrs. Fannie Black, Mrs. William Hunter, Mrs. Addie Jordan, Mrs. Leora Smith and Mrs. Mary Deal; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the Thomas C. Smith chapel.

Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
