Edna Rogers died as a result of a bicycle accident on Sunday morning about 9:30 a.m.
She was the daughter of Thomas Rogers and wife, who live just west of Garfield in the old stone house on the Wolcott place.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. W.E. Dull, at the Swedish Lutheran Church on Monday afternoon and was attended by a large and deeply sympathetic congregation.
This extremely sad event has stirred all hearts with sympathy for the stricken family and for the poor broken-hearted mother especially on whom the shock fell so heavily. The family has had more than their share of affliction in the last year. Besides much sickness in the family, Mr. Rogers has lost one eye and one arm broken by accidents.
