FRANK LORENTZ DIED MONDAY MORNING
Death Due to Overdose of Sleeping Tablets Taken Last Thursday Night
Frank Lorentz passed away early Monday morning from the results of an overdose of sleeping tablets taken last Thursday night, from which he never awakened.
Mr. Lorentz had been despondent since the death of his daughter a few weeks ago, and it is believed he took the overdose intentionally.
Mrs. Lorentz left the house about seven o'clock last Thursday night, returning about ten and found Mr. Lorentz asleep. She thought nothing of it, but when about midnight he had not awakened she became alarmed. Fearing the worst, she called the hospital. Mr. Lorentz was taken to the hospital immediately but the doctors were unable to awaken him and he never regained consciousness.
Mr. Lorentz is survived by his wife. Funeral services were conducted at the Congregational Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery.
