Graveside services for Lucille Yancey will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Charles Harold and Dr. Clark Palmer officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.The family requests that visitation be observed Today at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Yancey, 82, of Pineville passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her residence.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, especially enjoying time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and feed all of her neighbors and enjoyed when people came by to visit. She also enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting and doll collecting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Yancey, half-brother, Jewell Fryar. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Marie Crooks and husband, Frank, Louise LaJaunie and husband, Harold, Linda Roman and husband, Stan; grandchildren, Frank Crooks, Jr., Gene Crooks, Rena Crooks Saucier, Angel LaJaunie, Melinda LaJaunie; great grandchildren, Dakota Crooks, Austin Crooks, McKenzie Crooks, Madison Crooks Saucier, Gavin Crooks, Cody Michael Crooks Saucier and Jeffrey Riggs.

Pallbearers will be Frank Crooks, Sr., Frank Crooks, Jr., Dakota Crooks, Austin Crooks, Stan Roman, Gene Crooks, Gavin Crooks, Cody Saucier, Cody Michael Crooks Saucier, and Harold LaJaunie. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Riggs and Frank Cooper.
