Watsonville April 12. – Dr. Stanley Jewett, aged 68 years, local dentist, was killed instantly when his automobile went over an embankment on the Eureka Canyon road ten miles north of here early today.

Auto Victim’s Will Disposes of Estate

SANTA CRUZ, April 16. – The will of Stanley Jewett, who was found dead beneath his overturned automobile in Eureka Canyon, Sunday, was filed here yesterday.
His estate consisted mainly of the 460 shares capital stock of the Spring Valley Water Company. Of this he bequeaths to his wife, 310 shares of it and 50 shares each, to his three children, Stanley Jewett, of Portland, Oregon; Harold Woodward Jewett; and his daughter, Winifred C. Jewett Dillman, of Sacremento.

Stanley Jewett was born in San Francisco, California, May 15, 1855, the son of William Cornell and Almira (Guion) Jewett. He married in Forest City, California, October 3, 1880, Mary Adaline Lean, daughter of Joseph and Eliza (Woodward) Lean. They reside in Marysville, California where Dr. Jewett is a dentist.
