Passed away Friday evening, June 28, 1985 following a lingering illness. Age 57 years. He was born August 6, 1927 in Saginaw Township living in the area all of his life. He married Betty Holvey in 1950, she survives him. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear Plants 1 and 2 for the past 18 years. He was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving besides his wife are four daughters and one son: Beverly Barrera, Saginaw; Janet MacConnel, Phoenix, AZ; Vickie Yancer, Mark Steven Yancer and Ann Marie Beeler, all of Saginaw; five grandchildren, Angela, Sarah, Raymond and Matthew Barrera and Cory Yancer, his mother, Loretta Yancer, Saginaw. His father Raymond C. Yancer passed away April 1, 1970. Also surviving are one sister Lois Fischer, Saginaw, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take.....burial in Roselawn Memoria Gardens...
