Audrey Louise Biddix, age 71, of Marion, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Biddix was born in Mitchell County on October 11, 1941 and was a daughter of the late Evelyn Tolley Cole. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She was very devoted to her family and they will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Biddix are her husband of 52 years, Lewis Newton Biddix, of the home; six children: Sharon Gouge, Karen Banks, Lewis Biddix, Jr., Linda Edwards, Glenda Holland and Lisa McEntire; one sister, Maxine Cole; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Eric Grindstaff officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
