Florence was born on November 11, 1906 in Somers, Mont., the daughter of William A. and Addie M. (nee Disbrow) Curtis. She was raised on the family homestead which was from Caroline Point to what was the Little Red School house in Lakeside. On December 16, 1933, she was married to Frank Sommers in Kalispell, Mont. She was a member of the Eidsvold Lutheran Church of Somers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on Sept 1, 1981; two sisters, Cornelia Swenson and Mae Naethe. She was survived by two sons; three daughters; one sister; twenty-two grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Florence passed away of natural causes on February 4, 1991 at her home in Kalispell, Montana.
