We believe that Margaretta Law's father was Richard Horton Law, born ca 1793 in England, died ca 1846 in Missouri. Her mother was Mary Ann (nee Simmonds) Law-Leland-Burlingson, born Jul 16, 1809, Linton, Kent, England, and died Feb 7, 1875, No. 5 Vernon Place, Bloomsbury Square, London, Middlesex, England.
