Lady Ella Morris Reynolds was born on June 14, 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina to Robert Brown and Ruth R. Herring (Both Deceased) the first child of six. On Monday, October 19, 2009 after a lengthy illness at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Through her pain and suffering, Lady Ella never complained but continued to look up to The Lord. Then God, in His Infinite Wisdom, silently called Lady Ella into His Heavenly Home.
Lady Ella attended Springfield High School of North Carolina. After graduation, Lady Ella moved to Baltimore, Maryland and was employed at The DENITTIS Restaurant-608 Tranity Street- Little Italy Baltimore, City as a Hostess for many of years. After the closing of the Restaurant, Lady Ella was employed at The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company as a very proud Security Officer for several years until her illness no longer would allow her to work.
Lady Ella was a loving, kind and caring mother, grandmother and friend. Lady Ella would share whatever she had to anyone that needed her help. Lady Ella was a woman of wisdom and would share her knowledge with everyone that crossed her path.
Lady Ella rededicated her life to The Lord Jesus Christ and was introduced to The Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ by a member of the church. On Sunday, April 3 1983 Lady Ella became a dedicated member of the church under the Leadership of The Pastor and Founder Dr. A. R. Shields. Lady Ella was a devoted and faithful member, serving in different capacities at the church. Lady Ella singed on The Choirs, served on The Usher Boards for her Local Church and The District and The Jurisdiction. Lady Ella was always seen on her post in her beautiful Ushers Uniform with her bright greeting smile on her face and marching the members and guests to their seat. Lady Ella will be sincerely missed by all who loved and knew her.
One sister, Mildred Blue preceded Lady Ella into death.
Lady Ella leaves to celebrate her life: her three children: Jake Baines-Reynolds of Brooklyn, New York and twin daughter Brenda K. Reynolds of Wilson, North Carolina and Linda F. Reynolds-Butler of Killeen, TX. seven-grandchildren: Mitchell, Ambra, Jake Jr., Cameron, Charleton, Midori and Miguel: four sisters, Helen Norton of Hackensack, NJ., Bobbie Bryant of Capitol Heights, MD., Audrey Herring and Edith Alston both of Wilson, NC. And her extended family The Baines: a faithful friend Deacon John Briscoe and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
