She was a native of Texas and had lived here since 1932. She is survived by her husband, J. B. Etheridge of Winnfield; two sons, Ben R. Etheridge of Boulder, Colo., and J. B. Etheridge, Jr., of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. H. Purcell of Winnfield; a brother, Elmer Marsalis of Silsbee, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Charlie Smith of Silsbee, Tex., Mrs. Bertha Horne of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Maggie Tims of Claude, Tex.; 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home. Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiated. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Glen Guin, Newton Forrest, James Watts, Kelly Peterson, Willard Harlan, and Benny Smith.
