PENGILLEY, William T. (Bill) born December 26, 1919, and passed away September 7, 2005, in Mojave, Calif. Bill moved from Illinois to Rosamond, in 1942. He worked as a Carpenter and helped establish the Carpenters Union in Mojave, leaving in 1962 to start Desert Construction with two of his sons. He worked at Desert Construction until 1982 when he retired. His great sense of humor and generosity will be missed by many. Bill is survived by his wife, Julia; children, Dick, Bob, Patty and George; stepchildren, Nina & Shannon; 13 grand children, 17 great grand children and 1 great great grand child.
The viewing will be at Strickel's Mortuary, September 10, 2005. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday, September 12, 2005, at the Moose Lodge on Sierra Hwy in Rosamond. Burial will be at Mojave Cemetery immediately following the service.
